11,500 Dutch fans welcome to the 90th TT in 2021

TT Circuit Assen will have fans back in their famous grandstands as the MotoGP™ paddock rolls into the Netherlands

The 90th Motul TT Assen, which will be held from the 25th to the 27th June 2021, will be attended by 11,500 Dutch spectators on every day of the ninth round of the MotoGP™ World Championship. The TT Circuit Assen has reached an agreement with the Drenthe Safety Region and Dorna Sports to allow fans to return their famous grandstands.

A maximum of four tickets will be available per person for each day of the Dutch TT and a 1.5 metre social distance must be observed at all times. However, visitors from the same household will be allowed to sit together. Furthermore, tickets that had been purchased for the 2020 Dutch TT will remain valid for 2022, meaning regular visitors to the Dutch TT will be assured their usual seat for the 2022 Grand Prix.

The visitors of each grandstand will have their own bubble, with a customised traffic plan developed. Fans will be directed to a parking area next to their grandstand, with the route to each grandstand on the admission ticket by means of a colour code. This way, every grandstand has its own parking area and the visitors are then led directly to their grandstand and everyone will, therefore, remains safe in their own bubble.

The iconic TT Circuit Assen had the unique honour of being the only venue to have held a round of the motorcycle racing Grand Prix World Championship every year, uninterrupted, since the Championship began in 1949 before the Covid-19 pandemic sadly forced the cancellation of the 2020 event. Not only is it great to have the Dutch TT back on the calendar, but also for the always passionate Dutch fans to be able to produce the classic Assen atmosphere.
